Science has changed the dimension that people thought about life. At present, science in higher education has been considered as the fundamental global platform in which an individual equips himself or herself in any milieu of veracity.

The developing country like Nepal has to spend a huge amount of budget in science education, aiming to explore the local physical, chemical & biological resources. In the present context, science has a broader scope; it provides opportunity to choose from a variety of fields such as Medical doctors, biotechnical engineers, scientists, researchers, engineers, policy makers, t e a c h e r s , p a t h o l o g i s t s / microbiologists and a variety of technicians, etc.

So, we encourage young, enthusiastic, laborious and confident students to study science to lay a strong foundation for their future. Here, at BST College, students can choose following subjects as per their interest. Science stream offers 4 compulsory subjects and one optional.

At grade XI the compulsory subjects are English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. A student can choose an optional paper between Biology and C. Science. Similarly, in XII the compulsory subjects are English, Physics, Chemistry and Nepali. The choice of elective is between three subjects: Biology, C. Science and Mathmatics. A student can continue the elective chosen in grade XI, too. Besides, students are also free to change thier elective at class XII.Those who take C.Science in grade XI can switch to Mathematics in class XII or take both C. Science and Mathematics. Those who take biology in XI can choose Mathematics or take both Biology and Mathematics in XII.
