 First of all, we would like to congratulate you for achieving success in the SLC examination. This is very crucial time for you to choose right institution for further study which could give proper shape to your future. The college began its academic activities with 19 students in Management stream in 2003 A.D. Today,
we have more than 300 students in three different streams: Science, Management and Humanities. More
than 80% of the students successfully passed the HSEB examinations in the first batch in 2003/04,
which tells the success of the college. From this year, we are also going to launch bachelors programme
(B.B.S) in management to fulfill the aspiration of guardians, well-wishers and convenience of our 10+2
graduates.
The main goal of BST college is to provide students with a pragmatic education .Here, students acquire knowledge to solve the problems by probing, discussions, interrogation and working together. Moreover, here, you get personal attention, small size class, and skilled and motivated faculty and cooperative environment, which help you grow individually and academically. We not only provide academic degree, but also provide plenty of opportunities for extracurricular activities for personnel development. For example, we take students on excursion to the outside world, where they can see and learn-how actually things work in the real world.
In addition, we understand that every individual differs in his/her learning abilities; therefore, we
apply different teaching methodologies in class to help our students understand better, learn quickly
and perform better.The medium of instruction is English, however we understand that some students
face difficulties due to their language skills. Therefore, we have instituted extra classes to all those who
would like to improve their language abilities. Besides, the faculty members of BST college are highly
qualified and experienced. The institute provides a stimulating teaching-learning atmosphere, through
well-equipped Science lab, updated library and modern teaching methods.
We, the team of BST college, are pretty sure that you will find the college-environment quite ifferent

Management stream offers three compulsory subjects and two optional. At grade XI, the compulsory subjects are English, Nepali and Accountancy. Students can take two optional subjects either Hotel Management or BOOM, and C. Science or Economics. Similarly, in grade XII the compulsory subjects are English and Accountancy.Students can continue the electives chosen. Read more.... |
According to HSEB rules, Humanities Stream offers two compulsory and three optional subjects in Grade XI. The compulsory subjects are English and Nepali. However, keeping the wide scope in mind, BST College has made Major English and Journalism/ Mass Communication compulsory, too.
